Right clicking on a MacBook

is easier than I thought, and pretty intuitive (two fingers). Still prefer a mouse though!

In other news, the late night happened yet again.

Sleeping late is a bad idea

Staying up late is almost always a bad idea these days. Especially two hours over.

Note to self: get an earlier start, 1130pm is get-your-ass-off-the-internet hour. Otherwise, zombiefication might occur.

But man, watching basketball is so engrossing.

The road to killing procrastination

Thing about getting older, absentmindedness happens with increasing regularity. More reason to focus, get things done ASAP and not procrastinate. Look at the offending task right in the eye, dropkick the shit out of that thing and finish it off, make sure it doesn’t come back.

And I say this again. My brain is seriously not built for multitasking these days.

And oh yes. Figured out how to delete a protected OU in AD today.

One task at a time. Focus.

Learning (or rather, relearning) to focus on the task at hand. Finish it, and move on. What is not done, becomes procrastination.

Computers can do round robin, humans are eminently unsuited for that.

Rooting and restoring Android, plus Dragonball Z.

Life is a neverending journey of learning, so I’ll try to document the little things I learn every day. One never stops learning and growing!

Today, I tried to root my Nexus 4. And bricked it obviously. I had to learn how to get into bootloader mode, flash the Lollipop factory image from Google, re-root it successfully with Chainfire, then install an app to tweak the display settings (looked a little washed out). Also had to learn how to set the root password on my Mac Mini (different from an admin account). The things I waste my time on.

I also took in a crapload of Dragonball Z fan productions on YouTube. Some are hilariously bad, some are really good. The best takeaway was probably Dragonball Absalon, the storyline’s pretty good despite the artwork looking like some 90s computer dating sim.

Finally, reassessed content direction PnR, checked site analytics, and concluded that the NBA side of things might not be the best investment in time moving forward.
